Faces in the crowd: 1970 All-State Selection Dana Dupris, Snake Clown All-State Selection Dupree Tigers 1990’s
Rob Mendoza was on-site for the Little Wound Lady Mustangs non-conference road game against the Dupree Lady Tigers. Junior PG Charly Etzkorn would score Dupree’s first 5 points of the game. Senior Taylee Jewett would score off a fastbreak and Dupree was up at the end of the first quarter 10-6.
Little Wound Jr. Forward Toniah Yellow Elk’s 3 would start a run for the Lady Mustangs late in the 2nd quarter. Little Wound would go into halftime with a 20-15 lead. 5’6 Sophomore Point Guard Layla Janis would help seal the win for Little Wound and earning the KIPI Radio Player of the Game Award. Final Score 48 to 34.
The Lady Tigers host Lemmon (7-1) on Saturday Jan. 13 at 5pm MT
On Tuesday January 16th at 5pm MT Dupree Girls host Takini (0-5) at the Dupree High School Gymnasium.
