KIPI 93.5 was live from Timber Lake, SD for 2023 Timber Lake High School Homecoming Game. The (4-2) Panthers hosted the (1-4) Faith Longhorns, Friday September 22. Right out of the gate, Senior leader #4 Gracen Hansen was explosive with the run attack. The Longhorn defensive backs struggled to contain the quarterback on the ground, and when Hansen handed off the ball, Faith had to deal with the 5’10 Junior Running back #2 Cole Ducheneaux. Ducheneaux broke free during the second quarter for a rushing touchdown, but Senior Hansen seemed to be uncontainable with 4 total rushing touchdowns on the night and this week’s KIPI Radio Player of the Game. Panther Nation could not be stopped, and their defense wouldn’t allow the Faith offense a single point all night as Timber Lake def. Faith 32-0 to bring the Panthers up to (4-2) on the season. KIPI Radio would like to thank Timber Lake High School for the amazing hospitality and even better post-game firework show! Congratulations to Senior Quarterback #4 Gracen Hansen on earning POTG. This kid has another gear that is a lot of fun to watch, and we look forward to seeing this Panther team go deep in the postseason. The Panthers travel to Ft. Pierre next Friday (Sept.29) to face the (4-1) Stanley County Buffaloes.
