Its all ABOUT THE FAIR THIS WEEKEND ON CHEYENNE RIVER…

Play Day at the rodeo grounds this morning… POW WOW GRAND ENTRY BEGINS AT 7 PM THIS EVENING…Carnival… horseshoe tournament… rough stock rodeo, all just a few of the events taking place over the 5 day “Remembering Our Past To Strengthen Our Future” celebration that kicked off last evening with the Romey Gunville Memorial chute out.

Rodeos, powwows and softball tournaments will continue through the weekend all part of the annual tradition…

On Labor Day Monday, the annual main street parade will start rolling at 10 am – PRIZE CATEGORIES INCLUDE MOST BEAUTIFUL FLOAT, BEST REZ CAR, LAKOTA REGALIA, A YOUTH AND SCHOOL GROUP AND MORE…. WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT 3 PM AT THE POW WOW GROUNDS…

INDIAN RELAY FINALS WILL CONCLUDE ON MODAY AFTERNOON AT THE rodeo grounds…KIPI Radio staff wishes everyone a safe weekend. It will be warm so please keep the little ones HYDRATED!
