The Wacipi Arena located in Eagle Butte, SD on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation has hosted the annual Labor Day Celebrations nearly every year since 1960. Except the two COVID-19 years (2020-2021). Everyone from all across Indian Country has a memory or two from the CRST Arena. In late November of 2023 the Arena was demolished and plans of a new arena have already been agreed upon. We are all very excited to see where we will be celebrating the next Labor Day.
