After losing his 2nd RR bout, Tripp defeated Jacob Anderson (Fall 3:05) from Moorcroft, and winning his 5th RR (Fall 0:45) over Cash Hanson from Harding County.
Moving into the final 8- Watford City’s Brier Amegard bested Tripp (Maj. 9-0) sending him to a rematch against Cash Hanson where he would defeat Cash for the 2nd time today (UTB) to finish in 7th place in the 138-weight class.
